Terms of Use

These terms apply to PUdayne, the language-learning web app at www.ttpu.site and its browser extension. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

PUdayne helps learners study English and Chinese vocabulary with spaced-repetition flashcards, pronunciation scoring, AI-generated explanations and practice exercises. The service is in early access and is currently free. Features may change, and we may add paid plans in the future; we will tell you before anything you use starts to cost money.

2. Your account

• You need a valid email address and a password. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Do not share accounts or create accounts automatically.
• You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account and learning data.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it, or access other learners' data.
• Do not upload content you have no right to use, or content that is illegal, hateful or harmful.
• Do not try to manipulate leaderboards or points.

4. Your content

Words, notes, images and recordings you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, for example to build your flashcards, score your pronunciation or translate an image you upload.

5. AI-generated content

Meanings, example sentences, translations, scores and feedback are produced with the help of AI models and can contain mistakes. Use them as study aids, not as professional, legal or safety-critical advice. For maritime, legal or medical work, always rely on official sources.

6. Third-party services

To provide some features we send the minimum necessary data to service providers, such as AI model providers for text and image understanding, a speech service for pronunciation scoring, and an image library for flashcard pictures. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we will announce it in the app.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use.
